South Portland High School

Ranked 21 in a class of 214, 91 average, 1130 SAT, accepted at Rensselaer Poly Technic Institute. He is a member of National Honor Society, two years; French National Honor Society, three years; Boys' State Senate.

He played Football for four years and was selected to All-Conference, All Academic Team, All State, News Channel 13 "Team 13," National Football Foundation Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award, Telegram "Class of the State," Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl, Jack Flynn Award. He was a member of the Ice Hockey team for four years and was Varsity Captain, and participated in Senior All-Star Game.

He participated in Spring Track in his Senior year.

He received the Red Riot Award and Scholar Athlete Award.

His School/Community Activities include Foreign Language Exchange Club for 3 years, Secretary/Key Club (9,10,11,12), Secretary/Executive Committee (9,10, 11, 12), Maine Drama Festival (12), One Act Play, Quiz Bowl Team, 3 years, Yearbook Sports writer.

He also received MSSPA - Principal's Award, Special Olympics Volunteer.

Our Mission

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
