Born on February 16, 1974 in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine
Education:
Piscataquis Community High School

Ranked 1st in class of 61, 96 average, 1240 SAT, accepted at Bowdoin College. She received National Honors Society, University of Maine Achievement Award, Xerox Humanities Award, Baush & Lomb Science Award, Daughters of American Revolution Good Citizens Award, and Literary Magazine winner.

She played girls varsity basketball for 4 years and was captain for 2 years.

She also played softball for 4 years and was captain for 2 years.

She was also on the field hockey team and was its captain for 2 years, and was on the Sunday Telegram All-State Team.

Her School/Community Activities consisted of French/ Spanish Club, Homecoming Float Committee, Key Club, Literary Magazine, Magazine Drive Manager, Senior Play, Student Council, Yearbook Staff, Science Fair, and she was a U.S. Senate Page.

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
