Ranked first in a class of 117, average 98, with 1,400 SAT (one of highest among scholar-athletes), Heather Moore has been accepted at Princeton.

Scholastic honors: National Honor Society; Maine Scholars' Day; Principal's Award; Math team.

Heather accumulated multiple cross country and track honors: cross country four years, Captain last three, MVP, Western Maine Conference All-Star four years, all All-State. Indoor track four years, Southern Maine All-Star, State runner-up in mile and two mile. Outdoor track, four years, MIP, Captain; Western Maine two mile championship, All-Conference.

School-community activity: Band, Chorus, Concert Chorus, singing in Nursinq Home.

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
