Joey Keller of Madawaska High is another all-round scholar-athlete. He has been a four-year starter in soccer, basketball, and baseball, along with a similar span in volleyball.
He was an All-State soccer choice last fall and made All-East first team for three years. Keller's basketball honors included selection to the Aroostook County All-Star team his junior year, East-West All-Star and All-State academic his senior season.
In baseball, he has been All-Aroostook two years and earned the James E. Dyer Award as a junior.
In addition, he ranks second academically in a class of 102.

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
