Sean Ashley
Born on September 24, 1967 in Portland, Maine

Sean Ashley of Cheverus High School ranks among the state's top all-around athletes, especially outstanding in this age group when three-sporters are a comparative rarity.

Ashley has been a premium performer in all three as he has earned 10 varsity letters and captained all three his senior year. He was a two-year All-State Class A football selection.

As a junior, he was a dual-choice as flanker and defensive back as a key factor in Cheverus' Curran Division championship, the school's first grid laurels in 31 years.

He might have been a two-way choice again last fall, but in the interest of the team, switched to quarterback, where his versatile play let the Stags to the school's first state football championship.

He was the most valuable Cheverus basketball player this past season and made the Pizza Hut Holiday Classic All-Star team.

In baseball, he has handled several positions smartly and has batted well over.300 each year.

In addition, he is an honor student and vice-president of his class.
