A leader on and off the playing fields and courts throughout her high school career, Lisa Collett has been named to numerous All-Star teams while earning other honors as a four-year basketball and softball standout and three-year soccer reliable. These laurels were capped by selection to the 1984 All-State girls' basketball second team after making the Class B Eastern Maine All-Tournament team a third straight year for Houlton's three-straight champions.

First Houlton girls basketeer to score 1,000 career points, Lisa in her junior year as team captain was named Aroostook County's Most Valuable Player in all four classes - A, B, C, and D. Her sophomore year she helped Houlton win the state Class B softball championship.

Lisa is also active in numerous school organizations, including the National Honor Society. Scholastically she ranks third in a class of 136 with an average of 95.00. She'll attend Colby College.

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
