Drew is ranked #6 in his class of 182 with a GPA of 94.10. He has been accepted to attend Princeton University with a major in Economics. He is the son of Rod and Sheila Geant.
Drew was involved with several athletic activities in four years with the Red Storm. Beyond basketball, golf and swimming, his mark was made in the throwing events for his track teams. As captain of the Indoor Track team he holds school and conference records in the shot put. In Outdoor Track he has continued to excel in the shot and discus, previously winning the state championship in those events. Additionally, he competed in the National Track and Field meet in New York and finished fourth in the shot in his age group. "Drew is respected for his dedication, hard work, positive attitude, sportsmanship, and team leadership. Those qualities have helped him to a level of success of which many can only dream."
Outside of sports he is active in the school and community. His activities include Class President and Boys' State with honors including National Merit commendation, Rotary Club recognition, Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership, and OAR Citizenship Award finalist. He has also volunteered for recreational activities as well as Habitat for Humanity, Seniors Helping Seniors, and American Cancer Society Relay for Life. "He willingly accepts the challenge to assist his teachers, coaches, classmates, and administrators in any task, and is often leading the way in service activities."

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
