Jeff is ranked in the top 10% of his class of 186 with a GPA of 5.20 (6-point scale). He has been accepted to attend Brown University with an undeclared major. He is the son of Robert and Cynthia Gaudette.
Jeff's athletic achievemcnts are centered around running. As team captain he represented the Tigers in Cross-Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track. In each of those sports he was named to the All-Southwestern Maine Activities Association team, the All-State team and the All-New England team. He was three times named as his team's MVP in Cross-Country and was named as the 2000 SMAA Runner of the Year. "I have known Jeff for four years and have found him to have a burning desire to be the best. He has an incredible work ethic and has been a tremendous example and inspiration to our younger athletes."
Throughout his high school career, Jeff served as class vice president for three years, served on various school based committees, and served as a volunteer throughout his community. "...his contributions have been substantial. Personal challenges are a perfect match for Jeff's 'I can do it' personality. Dedication and leadership are the appropriate words that describe the contributions that he has made."

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
