Travis is ranked #12 in his class of 79 with a GPA of 89.00. He has been accepted to attend The University of Maine at Farmington with a major in secondary education. He is the son of Martin and Patricia Magnusson.

Travis participated in Soccer (captain), Basketball (captain), and Baseball for the Buccaneers. He was named to the MVC (league) All-Star team in each of those sports and was named to the All-State teams in basketball and soccer. He received the Harry C. Edwards Award as the outstanding player/sportsman in the Western Class C Basketball Tournament, was nominated to the National McDonald's Basketball Team, and was a true student-athlete. "He seems to understand his status as a role model for younger students and has accepted it graciously."

Activities include National Honor Society, Band, and Yearhook. Travis was also named as a delegate to Dirigo Boys' State. Additionally, he has volunteered as a coach for the younger athletes in the community. "He has a positive influence with young students and is always concerned for others."

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
