Anna Eisenstein

Anna Eisenstein has participated in soccer, skiing, outdoor track and field, and lacrosse at Edward Little High School in Auburn. As a member of the successful Red Eddies girls soccer program, she has been a four-year member of the varsity team. On two occasions she has earned the team's coach's award. A captain her senior year, she was named the SMAA Student-Athlete of the Year for girls soccer. She has also been a four-year member of the Edward Little ski team and served as the squad's captain in 2002 and 2003. Currently, she is captain of the newly formed Edward Little girls' lacrosse team.

Anna has been active in several activities at Edward Little, including the French Club and the Interact Club. She has earned numerous scholastic awards, including the Society of Women Engineers Award, the Principal's Award for Academic Excellence, La Survivance Francaise Book Award, and the Harvard Book Award.

The valedictorian of Edward Little's Class of 2003, Anna has a career grade average of 96.66. She was selected by her principal to receive the MPA Principal's Award. Anna is attending Middlebury College in the fall and is considering a major of either biology or French. She is the daughter of Martin Eisenstein and Gunilla Qvarfordt of Auburn.

Our Mission

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
