A multiple sport standout at Greenville High School, Hannah Breton has participated in soccer, cross country, basketball, skiing, softball, and track. In those four years, she has earned twenty varsity letters. Hannah is a four-year starter in soccer at Greenville and served as team captain during her senior season. She led her squad to a Western Maine Class D championship as a junior. Hannah tallied 110 goals during her career and was named to the Maine Soccer Coaches Regional All-Star Team and East/West Conference All-Star Squad on three occasions apiece. The Maine Soccer Coaches Class D Player of the Year as a senior, she was also selected by the Maine SundayTelegram as an all-state selection.
Hannah has also starred in cross country and won her league's championship meet four times. She is Greenville's school record holder in five outdoor track events and was PVC champion in the long jump as a freshman and a sophomore. The State Class C champion in both the 100-meter and 300-meter hurdles as a junior, she was also runner up in the long jump on two occasions and the pole vault as a junior. Hannah has starred on the hardwood for the Lakers where she scored 857 career points.
In addition to athletics, Hannah excels in many other co-curricular activities. She has participated in Greenville's Key Club and served on the school's yearbook staff for four years. She is a four-year member of the student council and has been that organization's president during the past year.
Hannah is a four-year member of her school's theatre troupe and has twice been named to the District V honors chorus and is a member of the concert and pep bands. Hannah is an outstanding student as well. She is the valedictorian of the Greenville Class of 2007 and has a career average of 98.97. Hannah will continue her education at the University of Maine. She is the daughter of Paul and Melanie Breton of Greenville.

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
